CONCEPT :
For centuries, the mosque has always been in the heart of Muslims’ lifestyle; it was not only a place to for prayers but also a gathering point for different social, economic and political activities affecting various aspects of daily life. Due to the unique location, this iconic mosque will be an attraction point for different people in The Creek District to enjoy magnificent views of The Creek Tower from one end and the beautiful waterfront from the other. People will be use the large open spaces around the praying hall and the stepped roof to enjoy the city view, make social gatherings and do activities together. The project is designed to facilitate these activities and revive the idea of making the mosque something beyond a praying place and more of a magnet to people.
